Mild steel
The workhorse of fixture construction. Strong, weldable and economical; almost always powder-coated, which gives durable colour matched to brand palettes. Best for: frames, uprights, shelves, structural parts.
Materials & Finishes
Steel, stainless, aluminium and acrylic — what each material does well, where it belongs in a fixture, and the finishes that keep it looking right in store.

Concept visualisation — metal and acrylic in one fixture
The short version
Most premium fixtures combine both: a metal structure doing the load-bearing work, and acrylic doing the presenting — risers, trays and covers that show the product without visual weight. The craft is in the junctions: where the two meet, tolerances and finishes decide whether the fixture reads as premium or provisional.
The workhorse of fixture construction. Strong, weldable and economical; almost always powder-coated, which gives durable colour matched to brand palettes. Best for: frames, uprights, shelves, structural parts.
Corrosion-resistant and premium in brushed or polished finishes. Chosen for food-adjacent areas, high-humidity environments and fixtures where the metal itself is the finish. Best for: rails, counters, premium details.
Light where weight matters — hanging systems, portable displays, large frames that installers handle daily. Finished by anodising or powder-coat. Best for: profiles, frames, portable systems.
Optical clarity for risers, trays, covers and signage; available clear, frosted and coloured, and can be printed or vinyl-wrapped. Edges are polished so the material disappears around the product. Best for: presentation parts and branding.
Finishes
Finishes are approved on physical samples before production and checked against them batch by batch — screens are never the reference.
Describe the product weight, the store environment and the look you are after in an enquiry — material selection with cost implications is part of our quotation, not an extra.
Send us your drawings, sketches or even a photograph of what you need. We reply with engineering feedback, material options and a structured quotation.
